1. Line drawing
From file menu select new, edit width and height select background color ,select OK. On Tools select the foreground color of your choice, click on brush or pencil. Keeping the shift key down click on the canvas where ever your starting point of your is and drag to the endpoint of your line. Yes your line is ready

2. Drawing Rectangle
On the Tools bar Click on the Rectangular select tool click on the starting point and drag to the diagonal end point of the rectangle. now you have the out line of the rectangle . To fill the rectangle select the color from color swatch and drag it to the selection. to draw a border click on select menu , border edit thickness click ok. To apply color to border select border color from swatch and drag and drop the swatch itself to the selection.

3. Drawing Square
Select Rectangle from tools select fixed aspectratio edit width and height to 1
and repeat the above proceedure

4. Drawing Circle
select the elipse select from the tool bar and repeat proceedure for the squar itself.

5. Drawing elipse
Select the elipse select from tool bar and repeat the proceedure for Rectangle.

6. Text
Click on the Slecte the color of your choice,Text Icon on Tools bar click on the canvas type in the required text.. Yes you have the text.

7. Drop shadow
Select the layer in which the object is and select srcipt-fu shadow.adjust transparecy and offset of your choice.

8. Enhanced text
Repeat the same proceedure as normal text and click on the text layer on the layer box, right click and select alpha to selection, select paintbucket,select required pattern,click on the selection text keeping the text layer selected. Give a border to text by choosing the select menu, border and choose a dark color to fill the border and drag and drop the color swatch to the border.

9. 3d text
create text similar to text (6), select the text layer and duplicate it. from the layers box select lower text layer. Change color of text of new layer to black with the text color changer on the tool bar. Select filter, blur, guassian blur set horozontal and vertical blur to 15 click ok. Select the text layer of your chosen color and select filter, map, bump map. On the bump map top drop down select the lower blurred layer, adjust azimuth to 200, depth to 15, and water level to 25.There goes you 3d text. play around with other setting for better results
